Synergic Swift Publication Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) organises literary events, workshops, cultural programmes, book launches and webinars. These terms apply when you register for one of our events through this website or take part in it. They form part of our Terms and Conditions. Each event’s page gives its own details — date, time, place or online access, and whether registration is open — and those details form part of these terms for that event.
Registering
- Registering through this website is free and does not involve any payment. If an event ever needs a fee, its page will say so clearly, with how and when to pay, before you register.
- You must be 18 or older to register. Please register each participant separately, with their own details and agreement.
- Where places are limited, registrations are accepted in the order they arrive until the event is full. Registration closes when the event is full, when we close it, or when the event starts.
- We confirm your registration by email. Please keep the confirmation; we may ask to see it at the venue.
- A registration is personal. Please do not pass it on without telling us.
If you cannot attend
Please tell us as soon as you know, by replying to your confirmation email or writing to support@synergicswiftpublication.com, so that someone else can have your place. Cancelling a free registration costs nothing.
Changes and cancellations by us
Sometimes we need to change an event’s date, time, venue, speakers or programme, move it online, or cancel it — for example because of illness, low registrations, weather or government orders. If this happens, we will tell registered participants by email as early as we can and update the event page. If you cannot attend the changed event, simply let us know. We are not responsible for travel or other costs you incur because of a change or cancellation, except where the law says otherwise.
At the event
- Please arrive in time, follow the instructions of our organisers and the venue’s rules, and treat other participants, speakers and staff with respect.
- We may refuse entry to, or ask to leave, anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive or disruptive.
- Children may attend events meant for them only with a parent, guardian or their school, who remains responsible for them. We do not collect children’s personal data through this website.
- Please look after your belongings. Follow any safety instructions given at the venue.
Online events
- Joining details are sent to registered participants or shown on the event page. Please do not share a joining link that is meant only for you.
- The online meeting or streaming service has its own terms and privacy policy, which apply when you use it.
- If we record an online event, we will say so before the recording starts. You can keep your camera and microphone off.
Photographs and recordings
We may photograph or record our events, for our records and to share news of them. When we do, we tell participants at the start of the event. We publish photographs or recordings in which a person can be clearly identified only with that person’s consent — and, for children, the consent of their parent, guardian or school. If you do not want to appear in photographs, please tell an organiser; you can also ask us later to remove a published photograph of you.
Please do not record sessions yourself, or publish recordings of speakers, without the organisers’ and speakers’ permission.
Content shared at events
Presentations, handouts and readings shared at an event belong to us, the speaker or the author. You may use them for your own learning, but please do not republish or sell them without permission. Our Intellectual Property and Copyright Policy explains how to ask.
Your personal data
We use your registration details to register you, manage places, confirm your registration and tell you about changes, as our Privacy Policy explains. We do not publish the list of participants. How long we keep registrations: until you ask us to delete them or the purpose ends; we will publish a specific period in our Privacy Policy.
Our responsibility
We organise our events with reasonable care. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under law, or your rights as a consumer. Speakers’ views are their own.
